Moving from Me to We

From Me to We

Several years ago, Wiley had a big theme under the same title, “From Me to We.” It was, and still is, significant as it focuses on moving from a hierarchical leadership model with an all-powerful leader to a team-driven model with leadership throughout.

Now, as The Conversations That Matters grows, I am doing the same. My team has grown to four team members plus key contractors. Our business, in the last year, has exploded with new custom leadership development projects, as well as consistent growth of our “Building Great Teams” workshop.

Building the team needed to execute this growth has been a labor of love. Each member has been chosen because of their unique capabilities, for sure. However, these capabilities aren’t so rare that I couldn’t have found many others to fill each position. More important than their practical skills and expertise, they were chosen because they are good people who have high emotional intelligence. They are team players, motivated, positive, incredible communicators, and just plain fun to work with!

Let me introduce you to The Conversations That Matter team:

Ava Goepfert, Senior Facilitator and Leadership Coach

She works with our clients to understand their people and business needs, then creates and facilitates custom team and leadership programs to build community with their people and grow their businesses!

Fun Fact about Ava: her first job was at a lumber company driving a logging forklift for 9 hours a day!

Kait Wyman, Administrative Operations Manager

She supports our clients by coordinating schedules, generating Everything DiSC reports, and handling administrative tasks for our CEO.
